Who’s that up in the crow’s nest? Why, it’s Jesi Bender, the latest addition to the Diachroneity Books crew!
A novelist, short story writer, poet, and playwright, Jesi brings to Diachro a experimental historical fiction novella that features sutures, code-making and -breaking, and a tumultuous East Berlin. It’ll be making its way to shore in early-ish 2027.
The book description that hooked us: “As a hybrid work, it relies on multiple languages (including ALGOL, a computer language), images, historical fact and folklore, atemporal progression, and other tools in an attempt to mirror an autistic experience.”

Hear ye, hear ye—Diachroneity Books is ready to bring forth the third of its literar offerings: The Girl Who Was Tuesday by Beatriz Seelaender.
Mariam Grubbs is a different person every day of the week. Literally.
To manage her unusual condition, the weekly counterparts sharing her body need to keep proper records of their memories and appointments. Everything changes, however, when Tuesday (the responsible one) gets a call from Scotland Yard about a missing person. As she struggles to piece together what happened to one of the Days’ missing friends, only one thing is certain: Her co-pilots have been keeping vital—and deadly—information from her.
